In this 3 part mini-series, we look at Nietzsche's will to power doctrine from three different angles. In the first lecture, we discuss his disdain for traditional metaphysics. In the second, we look at how the will to power fits in with Nietzsche's ethical ideas. And finally, in the final lecture we critique materialism and explain how Nietzsche's will to power doctrine overcomes some of materialism's limitations.

Nietzsche and Metaphysics 14:43 In this lecture we investigate Nietzsche's critique of traditional metaphysics, and introduce his own interpretation of the universe.
Nietzsche and Self Overcoming 12:09 In this lecture we investigate the connection between Nietzsche's understanding of evolution, his conception of the world as will to power, and his advice to devote one's self to a life of self overcoming.
Nietzsche and the Will to Power 11:57 In this lecture we investigate Nietzsche's doctrine of the will to power by contrasting it with materialism, a metaphysical account of the universe which has dominated scientific thought for the last 3 centuries.
