בקורס נלמד את באופן פשוט ובהיר העקרונות תורשת האדם, המבנה וביטוי גנים תוך כדי הסבר על שיטות אנליטיות. נעסוק ביתר בהרחבה , בהבנת בסיס המולקולרי של (כמה) מחלות תורשתיות תוך כדי התייחסות סוגיות אתיות שונות. קורס בסיסי זה בהחלט מיועד גם למי שטרם נתקלו במושגים מדעיים בסיסיים.

Secrets of the human Genome - Dr. Ann Saada (Reisch)
The curriculum includes learning the basics of human genetics, the structure and expression of genes while introducing some analytical methods. The molecular basis of (some) inherited diseases will be discussed more in detail including some ethical issues. This introductory course is also intended for students with now prior acquaintance with the subject.
